A state-of-the-art accommodation facility is currently under construction in the Wetland City of Victoria Falls, in a development poised to significantly increase the city’s room capacity and bolster its status as a premier tourism destination.
The project, named Eagle Height, is being spearheaded by the Eagle Real Estate Investment Trust (Eagle REIT) and is set to deliver an additional 550 rooms to the resort city.
Fidelity Asset Management Managing Director, Mr. Bevin Ngara, highlighted that the development aligns with efforts to strengthen Victoria Falls as a leading international hub for both tourism and investment.
“There will be 108 premium and mid-range villas to cater to tourists. In addition, we are constructing 54 apartments designed to accommodate medical professionals and visiting tourists. Altogether, we are adding no less than 550 beds to the City of Victoria Falls upon completion of this project,” Ngara stated.
This strategic investment reflects a commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth, reinforcing Victoria Falls’ position as a vibrant and diversified destination. The city continues to evolve as a multifaceted tourism hub, with increased investment in supporting infrastructure, including facilities for sports and medical tourism.
